It seems like only yesterday Meat Boy and Bandage Girl were escaping from an exploding laboratory in the sky. Now it’s the current year, and they’ve welcomed their daughter Nugget into the world. Their days enjoying life as a family came to an abrupt end when Dr. Fetus beat the snot out of them with a rusty shovel, and kidnapped Nugget! Now it’s up to Meat Boy and Bandage Girl to rescue.
Super Meat Boy: Forever is a spin-off of the Super Meat Boy series developed by Team Meat. Once again, we get a 2D game where action is presented from a side-scrolling perspective. This time, however, we do not have full control over the titular character.

Mechanics
Once again we play as the titular Meat Boy, but this time we do not have full control over him. He continuously runs ahead, we can only help him avoid all sorts of traps and obstacles. Super Meat Boy: Forever for PC, SWITCH and etc. features a single player campaign comprising six chapters.As we play, we will not only jump around, but also fight with powerful bosses. In addition to single player, the game offers the so-called Endless mode where we have to run as far as possible and survive as long as possible. Our score is then published on worldwide online rankings when we can compare our times with the achievements of other players.
Technical Aspects
Super Meat Boy: Forever for PC, SWITCH and etc. has the same visual style as the original Super Meat Boy. Once again, we get a 2D game where action is presented from a side-scrolling perspective and where dark humour is all around us. Super Meat Boy: Forever has many references to other games, i.e. unlockable characters from various indie productions.
